Account holder data
Workbooks you open in Tinfile, with names, addresses, TINs, dates of birth and balances, are read and processed in your browser. The schema check also runs in your browser. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see them. Closing the tab discards them. The XML files and the review workbook are created in your browser and saved by your browser to your computer.
What our server receives
- Normal web requests to load the pages (IP address, browser, time), processed by Cloudflare, our hosting provider, and kept in short-lived logs for security.
- When you buy, the Paddle transaction ID, which our server sends to Paddle to confirm the payment and issue your licence key. The key contains the licence tier, the expiry date and the transaction ID.
Payments
Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record and processes your name, email, billing address and payment details under its own privacy notice (paddle.com/legal/privacy). We receive order details from Paddle to provide support and refunds.
Stored in your browser
Your licence key is kept in your browser's local storage so you do not have to enter it again. You can remove it with "Remove from this browser" in the app or by clearing site data.
No tracking
Tinfile uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us for access, correction or deletion of personal data we hold (in practice, purchase records) at the email above. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
